Moments Unspoken is a text-based virtual reality game, created over the course of nine weeks with co-creator, Baldur Tangvald for the Oculus Rift. In it, players explore the events leading up to an affair, and the resulting aftermath. The game utilized a combination of spatially-oriented text with contextual sound to create an immersive experience despite the lack of visuals.
A one-button game, the main gameplay mechanic involved the user rearranging the text describing the world to solve puzzles and progress through the story. This game was submitted and selected for a USC Interactive Media and Games showcase in the Spring of 2014.
